Halloween! Must buy some sweets

Footpath now a roadWe've noticed the footpath that was closed on the Hopkins Homes development off Victoria Mill Road Framlingham has reopened with some of it now a road.  To our surprise there's room for cars to pass but no pavements so presumably no expectation that residents will walk anywhere ... even to walk the cockapoo.

John Self's shoe shopLocal historian John Bridges has been kind enough to tell us the Framlingham shop John Self was bought by the eponymous John Self as a shoe shop from Charles Cone in 1916.  It was managed by John Self's son John Self ... looked like there were builders in there today.
