fr 8 Apr 2022 | Between 11:30am and 12 midday the Monday before last 28 March in the Saxmundham Waitrose car park a woman returned to her black Toyota Prius to find two men near the car which was jacked up with some sort of wedge. She asked what they were doing, they lowered the car, picked up their tools, got into a blue vehicle and drove off. mo 7 Mar 2022 | A Saxmundham road rage incident around 4:40pm Wednesday 2 March on Church Street near Tesco's when two drivers argued at the traffic lights. One driver was punched in the face several times and head butted as he attempted to get out of his car sustaining injuries needing hospital treatment. The assaulter drove off in a silver estate-style vehicle towards Kelsale and is described as a white male around 6ft 2ins with short brown hair and tattooed hands and neck. fr 15 Jan 2021 | Saxmundham - Lunchtime burglar disturbed by householder Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Saxmundham. The incident occurred between 1.25pm and 2.05pm on Wednesday 13 January at a property in Beech Road. The occupant left their home and upon returning, they reported seeing a person dressed in black in the hallway. The occupant shouted as they entered but the person ran out of the back door and climbed over the garden fence. It isn’t believed that anything was stolen and no damage was caused. Anyone with any information about this incident or who saw anything suspicious should contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference number: 37/2092/21 |
