su 30 Jul 2023	♫ Booking for the Snape Maltings' autumn season opened yesterday. English Touring Opera are returning in October and include Rossini's Cinderella (La Cerenentola). We've seen it before (Glyndebourne On Tour in Norwich) but we'll be seeing it again.
fr 21 Apr 2023 English Touring Opera	♫ Last night in the Snape Maltings we fell in l♥ve with mezzo Margo Arsane playing Pompey's son Sesto ... she's petite ... and French. We did our best to keep up with the plot but occasionally just let it wash over us. Perhaps we missed it but at the curtain call the Aldeburgh Voices who sang from the audience weren't acknowledged. A much larger cast for tomorrow night a Rossini comedy.

tu 7 Dec 2021	We first encountered Ray Gelato as part of the Chevalier Brothers on a vinyl recorded using valve equipment. Much later we saw him with a big band at the Snape Maltings. Sunday his quartet is playing the Ipswich Jazz Club. ♫
