off either end of the Market Hill and yesterday there was a sit down tea for the kids, Punch and Judy, fancy dress, the Suffolk Phoenix brass band and later most rewardingly a lot of very assorted people joining in with the morris side from Bredfield. |

| fr 09 jl 10 | Bolted onto the Bredfield bowling club fete last weekend was bicycle grass track racing. Unlike its hard track brother not much messing about, the strong man immediately goes off the front and that's pretty much the end of it, but the handicaps do tend to have a heaving mass come together on the last bend and at this meeting unusually trikes as well. All sizes and all ages racing and excellent home made cakes being sold from the back door of the shop on the end of the village hall for just 50p, we'll be back next year. More pix here.

| | Bredfield's larger than you think; it's got a pub, a shop and a village hall. In the hall this afternoon both cast and crew, as is the Eastern Angles way, were setting up for Cuckoo Teapot tonight. They're playing Bradfield tomorrow and you can see the potential for cock up in the two place names.
