Ipswich G&S Soc rehearsal We've enjoyed a fun concert performance of HMS Pinafore with a single piano accompaniment.  When the diverse instruments (including timps) fired up the Pinafore overture at the Ipswich G&S Soc rehearsal last night we grinned with pleasure.  The show is at the Seckford Theatre Woodbridge 1-4 November (though ticketing is by the Wolsey).

St Elizabeth Hospice furniture projectWe once broke a gas stove into small enough bits we could get rid of it in the wheelie bin over a number of weeks.  A more elegant way to divest of large or otherwise furniture is to give it to Ipswich's St Elizabeth Hospice.  They collect six days a week so it saves you time and money whilst helping a very good cause indeed.
