Encouragingly two days after a Hacheston burglary last week a 46 year old Ipswich man has been arrested.

Wickham Market 1907, Hacheston school pre-1920 and Framlingham Riverside and Castle Street.

Surprised we hadn't heard about this nasty sounding road accident in Hacheston last Thursday, a Cateye Strada wireless cycle computer found in Woodbridge and dodgy £20 notes have been popping up all over nearthecoast including Aldeburgh, Saxmundham, Snape and Walberswick.

Hay in a field was set alight last night in Farnham, a money changing fiddle in Castle Street, Framlingham last week and pumps plus other stuff stolen from a garden in Lower Hacheston (that's the one east of the A12).

♫ Looks like if there is a Hachfest this year it'll only be a token one, sad because Hachfest is live music and for some perhaps the nearest they'll get to the festival experience.

The Hacheston flower festival runs today and tomorrow, Culture of the Countryside starts today at the Wingfield Barns (Daisy Cooper's mum is showing there next month) and it's the FESPA summer fete in Warbleswick tomorrow which we much enjoyed last year.

Those exquisite classic cars pulled up by Hacheston village hall Saturday were members of the Riley Register gathered to attend the memorial service for local man and Riley enthusiast Gerald Dick who died in January at the age of 72.  More pix here
