8:20pm  Bulletin board software just updated.

th 27 Nov

Our online print galleryOur print gallery is online again, PhotoBox must have bought the domain back, couldn't find their bum with their hand if they were sitting on it.

we 26 Nov

Oh poo!  Something's happened at PhotoBox and our print gallery has gone all Charlie Brooker ... working on it ... Can you believe it?  It looks like they failed to renew the domain and someone's hijacked it!

we 19 Nov

We're about to lock the bulletin board so we can upgrade the software ... upgrade done!  Now, if we ever relocate to Venezuela the time will be right.

mo 10 Nov

Tomorrow's weather is cancelled.

su 26 Oct

The clocks went back last night and don't rely on our new clock up on the right there, it runs off your computer's clock so if the pc hasn't adjusted itself ...

th 23 Oct

You may think we're geeks but just imagine what the uber geeks at the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) must be like.  W3C specify standards

W3C Markup Validation Service

and if your web site complies with the standards it makes the world a better place. We spent a very long day yesterday replacing embeds with objects, includes with nested templates, nowraps with nowrap="nowrap"s and eventually we ended up with a wobbly looking home page but it did W3C validate ... just made a small change and it doesn't validate anymore, well see for yourself ... then we fixed it.

Register on the bulletin boardNow we've fixed the visual confirmation that went missing when we moved host you can actually register on the bulletin board.

tu 14 Oct

Thanks to Karl Semple's conversion script the bulletin board is more or less back.  (PC Jeff Burt's wedding pics have gone missing but we can soon upload them again.)  God bless you Karl Semple.  May all your children be pension fund managers.

mo 13 Oct

J Tarquin Browne on the beach near Salobrena11:00am  We seem to be sorted but have to wait for name server changes to spread to your service provider.

01:30pm  Ah well, mother said there would be days like this.  The database software on the new host is a newer version than the old host and attempts to post on the board get an error message.  Working on it ... they're probably thinking about a siesta in Salobreña right now (it's 2:30 there) ... we would say "Apologies for any inconvenience" but we're not Icelandic and we don't have your money ...

su 12 Oct

No, we don't learn so we're going to try changing this site's host again this evening.  Expect things to go wobbly for a bit.

10:00pm  Getting there but expect more wobbling.

sa 11 Oct

The bulletin board admins are putting up a team for Man in the Hat's Screen and Music quiz next Thursday at the Framlingham White Horse.

we 10 Sep

09:45pm  It's a case of it should work ... but it doesn't, so we're moving back to the previous host which will reinstate the bulletin board and give us time to sort this out off line .. you win some, you loose some:)

03:00pm  The database restoration is turning out more difficult than we remember:)

12:05pm  Software installed and running but the database has yet to be restored.  If you post a message now it will be lost when the database is restored.

11:15am  That's an improvement already, the software uploaded in one hit.

10:30am  This web site moved host last night, the bulletin board will be back later this morning.
