A Wing and a Prayer project Minsmere

Post by des fisher » Thu Mar 07, 2019 1:49 pm

“A Wing and a Prayer” is the name of a large, colourful, glass art piece which will be installed into the ruined chapel at Minsmere. Funds permitting the installation will be this summer (2019) and this will launch a 3 year programme of arts, nature and heritage based activities and projects for all to enjoy.

The artist and project leader is Arabella Marshall who has chosen this unique location (a stone’s throw from Sizewell) not only for its beauty and intriguing local history but also for is vulnerability. The project is all about discovering a deeper connection with our natural environment. The art work is a catalyst - to get us thinking and talking. She has recently launched a crowd funding campaign https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/awingandaprayer.
