Police are appealing for information after a burglary at St Lawrence church in Brundish.

The incident occurred at some time between Sunday 14 January and Thursday 25 January at the building in Church Lane.

The door to the vestry was forced open and a safe - containing items of silverware and parish records - was stolen from inside.

The stolen silverware includes a 17th century communion chalice and paten dish, along with an ewer (large jug).

Anyone with information about this burglary, or who has been offered items for sale similar to those described above, is asked to contact the Incident and Crime Management Hub at Police Headquarters on 101 quoting reference 4842/18, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
