Ok, it's been a year now since we became a gigging band and we'd like to say thank you to everyone who has supported us. We have had some great nights this year and the work hasn't been hard to come by. Worlingworth in the 'Bigtop', on a wet summers night, really stands out for me and I hear that'll be happening again. Hadleigh can be written off, not going there again!

2007 looks like being a busy year, our diary is filling up already!

So a big thank you to the growing numbers who attand each gig and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

What a fantastic nights entertainment.

You got some great pics Des.

Where does this band get their inspiration to sing relatively unknown songs
that have us up singing and dancing all night long.

KEEP IT UP!!!

Thank you for the kind words P. At the risk of pomposity the O's two major strengths are:
o they don't mess about, and
o predominantly retro but very quirky, straight ahead repertoire.

Sounds good to me! (I thought Hi Ho Silver Lining was s'posed to be a floor clearer and they ended with it!!)

I especially liked the Cybermen's version of "Hi Ho Silver Lining".

Looks like a riotous and enjoyable evening was had by all. Nice to see a pic of someone close to my heart on the front page. We 'survived' the Christmas 'do' here and managed to bail out early. We'll send some pics next weekend, when Haggis has figured out the atomic skateboard thingy.
A Merry Christmas and a Happy (and Prosperous) New Year to you all.
Rinda & Haggis xx

A end of year gig for us last night and what a great night!

A ticket only gig in Worlingworth Swan. Not the biggest pub , but what an atmosphere!

A big thank you to landlady Maxine and all her staff for putting on the event and I have to say what great hospitality, they go out of their way to help AND provide free drinks! Which is always a bonus.

Happy New Year to you all and I'll leave you with a pic of the birthday boy from last night in his first state of undress!

Rinda!! That's just quality, as you can see we're still slaving away at packing out the pubs back in old blighty!! Of course, if there was a chance of getting a couple of gigs in Thailand!!! well who knows!!

Have a great new year and thanks for the support.

Oh that I wish I was! The Thais are a delightful nation of children - from top to bottom. Even if they buy a ten million Baht (130,000 quid) Mercedes, they have to spend a bit more on some Carlos Fandango wheels... Any half-way decent, but usually shagged-out, diesel pickup that hasn't got alloy wheels on it, has M-B wheel trims... Burning question of the year - why are there so many hunky, 4WD Chealsea Tractors roaring around Thailand with Thule ski racks on their roofs? Is it me?...

Going back to topic, you would be hugely welcome here, and we are trying to use our contacts to organise your tour before you even think about it! Music? All you need to play is Hotel California. That's it. Nothing else. (Think Rinda might have told you this already.) If you really want to demonstrate your amazing diversity, you could throw in Dido's 'White Flag'. We discussed the possibility of some Westlife stuff, but decided that it might be a bit too heavy for Thailand.

Good luck!

Hag.

P.S. If you make it over here, bring loads of car stickers - they will look good on all those ski racks...

Our website is now back!

Unfortunately, we have been unable to access the website for the last month and it hasn't been updated. So, sorry to those people who have been complaining about how out of date it is.
