That girlie band they had at Midsummer Madness. They sing to backing tracks. They get away with it by calling themselves a 'Vocal Harmony Group'.

That's just three girls standing near a wall, where's the action shots, you know, doing a dance routine, working up a sweat like real rockers!!

I can see you're busy at the office today then, Des!

Are u coming to take some snaps at Benahall later today then? Where we will hopefully see a fully animated version of The Outlaws!

Or.... more like, some ever so slightly (lol) overweight ,30/40 somethings, sweating their bits off, trying to remember songs so that they should sound familiar to someone.

But animated alright

Strange experience for us last night, we've never played an open air thing before. We are rebooked to do it again next year so people must have liked it!

That's good news. Skeet seemed to think it might not happen next year.

Well you certainly warmed the crowd up for the headliners!! Thanks guys!

About the 'strange' bit - did u mean that as in you've not played open air before or as in it was a weird atmosphere at the event? I certainly hope you enjoyed performing as much as the Benhall crowd enjoyed having you along. The Ska stuff went down particularly well.

Good to hear you've been rebooked - do you think YOU might consider the headline spot then for next years event?

mmm not so sure about playing outside gigs, take it or leave it, hot sweaty, heaving pubs are more our thing!!

Anyway!! MINX so now we've established the fact that they can stand by that brick wall and blow kisses!! If you look very carefully at the Outlaws pic, not only had we played a three hour set and blown lots of kisses, you can actually see the remains of some intruments!!

Surprised you didn't seem to get off on playing open air - in all the bands I've been in, we've always jumped at the chance of playing festivals and open air, and always enjoyed it. Mind u, it is possible to run a music festival in a pub - in fact I was involved in one last year - St Augustines Festival at The Steamboat Tavern, Ipswich!

Does that mean then u guys wouldn't want to play Hachfest?
