Have you done that with a microphone up to the speakers?

I only ask because I've just listened on the 'listen again' feature on radio Suffolk and it sounds different. Better.

If you want to use the 'listen again' feature, you need to forward it to 41 minutes. That's our bit.

Ole Foz likes that Bay City Rollers track. He's banged on about it again tonight. Wonder how long it'll be before we get asked to release it as a single.

OR before other bands start learning it.

The recording was of the stereo mix on my PC - there may have been a bandwidth restriction at the time hence the poorish sound. I may have another go at that when its quieter.

Don't forget, we're back on again tonight between 6pm & 7pm.

The 'introducing' session is normally after the 18.30 news, but with Foz it's never the same every night.

I shall certainly have a listen but don't guarantee i'll have time to do another sound clip tonight.

Anyway I can't get those ruddy La, La, La, La, La's out of my head from last night yet!!

Basket Case last night. It came accross a bit diluted I thought. The guitar was too far down in the mix.

Still I'm enjoying it.

I'm guessing he'll play the Elvis track tonight!

The bass was certainly too low and I'd say the vocals (no disrespect) were over prominent - otherwise a good listen overall.

Tip for iPlayer listeners - select BBC introducing and then when it starts to play the stream hit the 15mins forward button, which cues you up almost exactly to the start of the song!

For me, the most enjoyable O's recording so far - I listened to it at full blast on my way home from work, and joined in with the chorus too!!

For the record, the one I least enjoyed so far was Basket case - sorry guys. Maybe its best heard live and direct.

Sorry, but Shang-a-lang is still favourite for me - just heard Suspicious Minds and it's an Ok cover and well performed, but could have done with more drive for my liking.

Overall, a good set of recordings though - well done guys. ;)

I'm afraid all the DRIVE has been missing from the recordings, but then you'll only really get that with the live sound.

Thank you all for your comments, we are very lucky to be a covers band on the Foz show.

Shang a Lang.............. lol :!:
