There were two horses and riders involved in Saturday's Earl Soham hit and run.

At around 11.15am Saturday in Church Lane Earl Soham a vehicle collided with a horse. The woman rider was badly shaken and suffered minor injuries, the horse had to be put down. The motorist did not stop and police would like to hear from anyone with info, the incident reference is CAD 158, you can call 101.

Earl Soham is another village that really knows when its fete is, it's Saturday, on the green and hopefully free entry like it was in 2015 and certainly there will be steam train rides in the very nearby garden.

Congrats to Earl Soham Brewery whose Albert a traditional best bitter with delicate bitterness from the British Fuggles hops and a delicious balance of malt and hop character won gold twice at the SIBA East Independent Beer Awards. ESB's Sir Roger's Porter did well too winning double silvers.

Speak of a bus shelter and one is sure to appear. There are three way temporary lights in Station and Victoria Mill Roads Framlingham today so a gang can install a replacement bus shelter maybe twenty yards nearer to Parham from the previous position. We'll see how long this one lasts.
Meanwhile behind what was the Atlas Group and Earl Soham Vets in New Road Fram there are white vans, hiviz and safety helmets.

♫ At Stradisphere last night in Stradbroke as so often at events it took darkness, the approaching show end and possibly Earl Soham Vic at £3.50/pint for the good sized crowd to fill in the empty space at the stage front. Food, sweets and witty tie died babywear stalls and we much enjoyed three no bass player piece from Norwich The Signs. The festival continues today with Oasis tribute Definitely Maybe topping tonight.
