Emma
Kirkby's voice first interested us in sopranos but it was Felicity Lott and
Ann
Murray's cd On Wings of Song that showed us you can float on the sound of sopranos. Dame Ann
Murray is giving a concert (and when
we've seen her live she does actually sparkle with real bling) at the Warden's
Centre for Disabled People, Sizewell this Saturday and though tickets (from
Elspeth Gimson 01728 830007) are £20 they do include a preceding champagne tea.
