The suspect, who was riding a bicycle, approached the vehicle – a Fiat 500 – and smashed the front windows before removing a laptop bag and its contents.

A member of the public witnessed the incident and attempted to chase the suspect, who then cycled away in the direction of Lorne Road, where they lost sight of them.

The suspect was dressed all in black with their face covered.

Anyone who has knowledge of this incident should contact the Lowestoft Neighbourhood Response Team on 101, quoting crime reference 9800/19.
