The incident occurred in New Market in Beccles, Tuesday 14 August around 2.07pm. A white male with tattoos on his neck, presented a counterfeit note at a local business. At the time of the offence, the male was wearing a grey tracksuit.

Other incidents that have been reported to the Police occurred in Woodbridge on Saturday 4, and Monday 6 August.
