Police are renewing appeals for motorists not to leave valuable items in their cars after two thefts from motor vehicles at Westleton on Saturday, 24 July.
A red handbag containing cash and cosmetics was stolen after someone broke into a red Fiat left in a car park at Blythburgh Road in Westleton between 2pm and 4.15pm on Saturday. A silver Ford Focus left in the same car park between 4pm and 4.15pm was also broken into and a handbag – containing cards, cosmetics and a mobile phone – was taken. Anyone who was in the area around this time who saw anything suspicious or anyone with information about who took the bags or where they are now should call Sgt 72 Goddard on 01473 613500.
